10 Things I’m Celebrating from 2022

Goodbye 2022 and welcome to 2023!

It’s a time to reflect and review the previous year. What are you celebrating? What was the overall feeling you experienced in 2022? Can you list 10 things you’re proud of or celebrating? Here’s mine: 

1. Business growth. We continued to see an increase in sales month over the month. 
2. Income growth. Our business income grew by 30% in 2022!
3. Health. We all had decent health and made it through 2022 without too many dings and scratches.
4. Our dog! Finley survived her first “dental”. This was a big deal! More on that later…
5. Milestones. We added another driver to our family. We now have 2 teenage drivers!
6. Financial goals. We set some financial goals for 2023 and our future. We’re being intentional with what we spend our money on and how we save for the future.
7. Celebrating firsts. We went on a cruise together for Christmas! We like to travel and spending time with our family over Christmas away from all the crowds and the noise has become a tradition. This was our first cruise and we LOVED it!
8. A new purchase. We bought a new truck! Matt has been driving the same car since 2006. His truck was 16 years old and now, it was time for a new one. The added benefit is that we paid cash for it – because of our incredible business. 
9. Travel. We took a trip to Alaska and fly-fished in the most beautiful scenery I’ve experienced. 
10. Renovation. We re-modeled our living room and got furniture in after it sat empty for over two years. It turned out beautiful! We also updated our backyard. We have a more functional patio complete with a fire pit, a bench, and a new fence.

Each year, I do a vision board to help keep me inspired to move forward. This year is no different. Stay tuned: Vision board class coming up! More details coming soon.

Have you heard me say, without vision, we repeat what’s familiar? It’s true. A confused mind does nothing. If you don’t have something exciting keeping you going or motivated, you’ll feel like you’re experiencing “Groundhog Day” firsthand. Have you seen that movie? It’s a classic!

Here’s a little secret…Each one of those items I listed above in my top 10, were on my vision board. Some have been on longer than others, but to see many of these items get checked off the list is inspiring and this is the reason why I feel vision boards are so important, and why I host a workshop to create your own every single year. 

What are you taking time to dream about? What are you grateful for? I promise you as you take the time to reflect on the past with intention and gratitude, you can design whatever you’d like for 2023 and beyond. The only thing holding you back is the voices in your head telling you why it can’t be done. I’m here to cheer you on and tell you, YES YOU CAN!
