We’re still on the “new year, new goals, new intentions, blah blah, blah…” right? Are you tired of hearing about New Year’s Resolutions already? Well don’t be! We set goals for a reason. Let me share four tips that will help you better understand why goals and vision are so important:
Did you know, our goals are more likely to happen when we write them down? Write down your goals. Get intentional with what you want and why you want it.
Your brain is wired to grow and evolve. Working towards a goal or working to achieve something is fueling your brain and keeping life exciting and helping you feel purpose.
You’ll feel better. The goals you’ve written down or thought about, I’m guessing the goal itself is great but it’s the FEELING that’s driving it. “I want to lose ten pounds.” That’s the goal, but what’s the feeling wrapped up in it? I’ll feel more confident. I’ll have more energy. I’ll feel better…” The goal is great but the feeling is driving it.
With a compelling vision, you’ll make a positive shift towards achieving that goal. You’re be more inclined to take that next step when you’re clear on what it is you want, and why you want it.
Do you need some help dreaming?
Come dream with me. Come get clear on the possibilities of what this year could hold. Create an ideal life vision that inspires you to wake up each day, to take action, and to get out of your comfort zone.
I’m hosting a two part Vision Board course. We spend call one getting clear on the vision, the goals and the feelings you want to feel in several categories of your life. Call two, we put together the vision boards. We craft it up! You’ll have two weeks in between the two calls to plan, prepare, and gather the items needed to create the vision board.
I provide all the instructions in call one, and then hold the space to put it all together in call two.
So come with a journal, pen and well hydrated and nourished so you can spend an hour reflecting on what your next year could look like and feel like.
