My Favorite Dog Toys!

Do you buy your dog toys often? What toys do you typically buy for them?

Our dog is a heavy chewer and loves to destroy plush toys so those aren’t my typical go-to’s.

If like me, your furry friends are chewers and you’re wondering what toys can withstand tough chewing, then you’re in luck because that’s what I’m discussing on today’s blog!

Here are my top 3 favs:

#1 CBD Bone.

These long-lasting nylon bones are coated with a clear, soluble CBD herbal supplement for oral delivery.

The CBD is gradually released as your dog chews or licks the bone. The bone has a glossy appearance when new — this is the minty CBD coating. As long as the bone is shiny, there is CBD available for consumption (don’t forget to look in the nooks and crannies)!

CBD is an extract from the hemp plant and is known for a variety of therapeutic effects. (But don’t worry, CBD does NOT contain any psychoactive ingredients and will not make your dog “high”.)

The CBD will start working in 30-60 minutes from ingestion and can last for 2-12 hours. This can vary depending on metabolism, activity, and how much is ingested. CBD is most effective after using it for several days.

You can see how much my dog loves it long after the CBD is gone! Just look at the photo below: this is about 4 months after purchase! It’s amazing! Find this great toy here.

#2 Alien Toy

This is my pup’s FAVORITE! It’s a toy, inside of a toy… inside of a toy! Three toys in one!

The Big Squeeze Spaceship with Mini Alien is hours of fun! Once the plush exterior is torn, it reveals another plush toy (a mini alien) covering a soft plastic, spiky ball that bounces and squeaks. Finally, a toy you’ll actually want your pup to “seek and destroy”. Great for playing fetch or tug-o-war! We go through about 3 of these a year. Here is our most recent delivery captured on video!

#3 Antlers

My husband is an avid hunter and will pick up sheds here and there as he hikes, scouts and hunts. He’ll also “donate” some to our dog Finley from the animals he hunts. This was great for those sharp puppy teeth of hers! The antlers kept her entertained for hours as well and were really fun to do scent work with her. I know you can buy these at pet stores and online. They can be expensive but it’s so worth it, as they offer hours of entertainment!
